11th Doctor LEGO

I have taken a long hiatus from the blogging network because I've been busy with the last minute tying up of my High School career. DONE! SUMMER!

Anyways. My first summer project has been making a LEGO 11th Doctor because I love the Dr. Who series! This has proven to be a success!

This is the 11th Doctor and his TARDIS! The TARDIS is from the new "Character Building" sets. I didn't create it from scratch. Still really great though! The good thing about Character Building sets is that they're LEGO compatible. Meaning you can merge the sets and they will work with one another. I got my set in Edinburgh, but I'm sure they sell them here in the US as well. Definitely online.

Here is the 11th! Matt Smith! I'm very proud of his suspenders! And the red bow tie. Perfect that they were on the same torso!

This patchwork lego was very easy to put together: hair of Anakin Skywalker, torso of Dr. Charles Lightning from the Adventures set, and head of a Kingdom's soldier. The sonic screwdriver is the base of a light saber.

The Anakin hair was the closest I found to Matt's awesome "do."

(Also, the Dr. Kilroy gray suit from the same Adventures set works well too.)

My next project is to make Amy Pond. I'm determined to make her hair and face right! I might even move on to Rory and River! And the other 10 Doctors. The possibilities are endless!

I'm still alive!

Well hi!

So it's been like 23 years since I've posted on here and compared to this summer, not much has been going on.

Just as a general update, we decided to keep the kitten which we named Miss Bennett, Missy for short...(we decided this back in like August). She is so big now! Her fur is very fuzzy and thick and she still really likes to eat stuff off our counters...everything basically. Missy and Poppins have decided that they will get along. Though Poppins sometimes growls when they are eating together. They like to fight with each other (we call it "sumo-ing").

Update on the movie: back in November, the movie company decided to give me one of the cast chairs! And, they surprised me by putting my name on it!!! It's my desk chair now, and I am NOT going to take it to college with me because I'm scared someone will steal it...

More updates on the movie: Well, Scre4m came out on Friday April, 15 2011 and I have to say it was GREAT! It takes a talented director to make a movie scary and funny at the same time. I won't give anything away just in case you haven't seen it, but the twist was very amazing! I guessed one of the killers, but the second one was like...dude!!

Look for me in the barn scene in the back row of the audience on the right next to a wooden beam!
